Hi Folks,
I seems time is just whizzing by… The Oyster Festival came and went. Thanksgiving and Christmas came and went and here we are at the start of a new decade with the band beginning it’s 35th year.
We plan to try some new projects this coming year but we don’t intend on abandoning our current acoustic 4-piece. It’s too much fun. We’d like to try an electric thing with drums. Maybe a fiddle too… It’s just taking a little longer than we thought to get it off the ground. We’ll post it when we’re ready to roll it out…
Well… that’s it for now. See you at the gigs!!!!

Sorry Folks, but the “Oktoberfest at the Oyster-fest“ (10/17-18), has been canceled due to inclement weather predictions.
The Oyster-fest is still on at the time of this writing but the Freemason’s have decided not to go forward with their annual Oktoberfest.
It’s too bad too… It’s the only place you can go to sit, eat, have a cold beverage and hear good music like The Red Flannel Hash Band (wink, wink, nudge, nudge)…in the whole ‘festival !
ALL IS NOT LOST ! ! !
Instead, we’ll be at Skipper’s Pub in Northport this Saturday night, 10/17 at 9:30pm.
Come on down and check it out!!!

Hi Folks !!!
Hope you-all are having a great summer!
The band has been taking it easy lately as some of us have been trying to get away and break the routine a little bit. We’ll be getting back to it as the weather cools off I suppose.
I myself just returned from a great trip in Wyoming (check Old Faithful on the bands photo page ). I must admit, I like wearing a Stetson.
Anyway, hope to see you at the shows.
Giddy-up!
Jim
