Why are CCJs so important?

County Court Judgements are seen as a key indicator of poor financial health. CCJs have a negative effect on a company’s credit score and it is assumed that the debt is not paid because the company can’t afford to and as such may be insolvent.

If this is not the case it may show that a company is poor at paying on time and as such may not be suitable to do business with.
